Dishonored: Death of the Outsider gets its first gameplay trailer
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, a new standalone game set after the events of Dishonored 2, has gotten its first gameplay trailer, and needless to say, it looks like things are gonna get bloody.
In Death of the Outsider, players will get to take control of Billie Lurk, the female assassin who first appeared in Dishonored’s Knife of Dunwall DLC and who later showed up in Dishonored 2 disguised as a whaling captain named Meagan Foster. Even though the game’s story involves Lurk freeing her former master, the assassin Daud, in her quest to kill the enigmatic being known as The Outsider, Daud will not be a playable character. Of course, as you can see in the below trailer, Lurk will have plenty of new powers and combat moves with which to punish those foolish enough to get in her way, so not having multiple protagonists to choose from shouldn’t be that big of a detractor.
Daud will once again be voiced by Kill Bill actor Michael Madsen (who also voiced the character in the original Dishonored and its DLC) while Rosario Dawson (Netflix’s Daredevil) and Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham) will reprise their roles as Billie Lurk and The Outsider after voicing the characters in Dishonored 2.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will launch on September 15 as a $29.99 standalone title for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
