Ubisoft outlines Assassin’s Creed Origins January content plans
Assassin’s Creed Origins players will have several new features and events to look forward to during the month of January, and Ubisoft has now detailed exactly what those new features and events will be.
In a new post on its website, Ubisoft shared what Assassin’s Creed Origins players can expect for the month of January. The first major release will be a free title update which adds in a special intro quest that leads into the Hidden Ones expansion, the ability to sell outfits at weaver shops, and the ability to find items from paid DLC packs like the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator, and Wacky packs in the free Heka Chests players can earn. After that, the Hidden Ones expansion will arrive in full later in the month, adding in a new series of story quests which pit protagonist Bayek against an occupying Roman force in an all new region. Hidden Ones will also raise the maximum level cap from 40 to 45.
Along with the free title update and Hidden Ones expansion, players will once again be able to partake in the Trials of the Gods. The god Anubis will be available to battle from January 9-16 while the god Sobek will show up from January 23-30. Lastly, some new DLC item packs will show up in the in-game store on certain dates. On January 16 players will be able to buy the Almighty weapon pack, and on January 30 they’ll be able to get the For Honor-themed For Honor weapon pack and the Warden’s Oath outfit, the latter of which will be available via the Ubisoft Club.
