Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon expansion will hopefully launch soon

Plains of Eidolon, the upcoming expansion which will basically turn Digital Extremes’ online corridor shooter Warframe into a pseudo-MMO, will ideally launch within the next few days if everything goes according to plan.

In a recent post on the Warframe forums, Digital Extremes said that Plains of Eidolon will ideally launch within the next 10 days (so on or before October 13 since the post was put up on October 3). The post also includes a map of the expansion’s new Eidolon region and additional details on the next playable Warframe, Gara (the quest that allows players to earn her for free will be delayed beyond her in-game market availability by about a week).

Warframe is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Plains of Eidolon will be one of the game’s biggest expansions to date, essentially transforming the currently lobby-based online co-op shooter title into an open-world MMO where players can meet up in real time and fight together.
