You’ll be able to import your Shadow of Mordor arch nemesis to Shadow of War
One of the great gameplay mechanics of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was the Nemesis System, a system that randomly generated enemies with unique names and traits whose “career” is affected by Talion’s actions during the game.
If you played the game, there was usually one Orc that became a pain to defeat, either by just your character not being powerful enough or the enemy just had too big of an entourage to get a one-on-one battle. Whatever the case may be, this enemy was your arch nemesis and thanks to a new Shadow of Mordor update called Nemesis Forge, you’ll be able to import that enemy to the game’s sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
Nemesis Forge allows players to bring over their top Nemesis, as well as their top Orc follower/ally, from Shadow of Mordor to Shadow of War to continue the storyline as you battle Sauron’s army.
If you haven’t played Shadow of Mordor, we highly suggest to take advantage right now. The game is free to play on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 until July 9 and is currently for sale on all three platforms for $4. Look for Middle-earth: Shadow of War to launch on October 10.
